A month or so ago I got the bug to pull my Battlefleet Gothic fleets out and revamp them. Don’t  know why… maybe it was a byproduct of picking up the Soul Drinkers by Ben Counter and rereading it. Much to my pleasure, I rediscovered many of the models I had worked laboriously on and finished to a level that pleased me. I also came across several… well, derelicts would be a kind term for them. That’s the case for these two ships.

Above you see the ships Nurgle’s Bile and Nurgle’s Get which were made from a couple of plastic cruisers that had been primed poorly with spray paint and had broken off their bases. I decided to fix them up and add a cruiser squadron to my Battlefleet Gothic Chaos fleet. There are two more Nurgle c ruisers on the way – Nurgle’s Gift and Nurgle’s Breath.

I have been wargaming as long as I can remember. I met my wife when I was 14 and had been gaming long before that so that should give you an indication as to how long it has been. One of the first games I owned was Anzio by Avalon Hill. I drove over to the hobby shop in the snow to pick it up as I finally had the money to get something! I can remember playing with Airfix figures and Roco tanks back in the 6th grade and before.
