Mantic Deadzone Plague

By Michael Cannon / December 12, 2015

So I picked up Deadzone when Mantic had their Black Friday deals.

First off, it arrived in less than a week so well within the shipping parameters.

Second, it shipped quickly and was not delayed in their offices. Great experience so far.

I have heard a lot of rumbling about the “restic” they use but this was my first exposure to it.

My impression is that it’s not a big deal, just another material to learn how to use. These images are snaps of some of the works in progress. I have the plague beast in the priming queue right now so these are what is on the desk and ready to base.

I have been wargaming as long as I can remember. I met my wife when I was 14 and had been gaming long before that so that should give you an indication as to how long it has been. One of the first games I owned was Anzio by Avalon Hill. I drove over to the hobby shop in the snow to pick it up as I finally had the money to get something! I can remember playing with Airfix figures and Roco tanks back in the 6th grade and before.
