For some reason I have devoted myself the last month to working on terrain. This is the Chapel of Vengeful Reflection.

It’s mounted on a 12 inch square floor tile. The building is mounted on blue foam surrounded by bark. The building is, as you will recognize, from GW. The temple pieces and figures are from Fenryl. The steps leading into the temple are Hirst Arts pieces which I cast in resin.

I made a mistake on the rear wall pieces and did not glue them together so when I was gluing them to the base the wall pillars separated so there is a gap (the lesson there is don’t get in a hurry). The stuff on the altar is my attempt at ivy using an 8 year old ivy kit from Antenociti. The kit is good but not available anymore. I need more practice in its use, however.

I have been wargaming as long as I can remember. I met my wife when I was 14 and had been gaming long before that so that should give you an indication as to how long it has been. One of the first games I owned was Anzio by Avalon Hill. I drove over to the hobby shop in the snow to pick it up as I finally had the money to get something! I can remember playing with Airfix figures and Roco tanks back in the 6th grade and before.
