I have been working on a few projects lately but once I get the painting desk cleared I will be working on my Zombie Apocalypse project. First up is my Hazmat Team from Hasslefree Miniatures. A friend picked these up for me from Salute a year or so ago and I have just gotten all of the pieces together to get the project going.

I decided to go with the standard yellow color for the suits as this was going to be a pretty drab tabletop with all of the zombies and other uniformed figures. The bases are done with Woodland Scenics as I wanted to make sure there was some uniformity in the collection.

The buildings are from Battle Systems and came as a part of their recent Urban Apocalypse Kickstarter. The vehicles came from the local 7-11 and run about $6 USD apiece. The size of the layout will eventually be around 4 by 4 feet or 6 by 4 depending on what I use from Battle Systems.

I have been wargaming as long as I can remember. I met my wife when I was 14 and had been gaming long before that so that should give you an indication as to how long it has been. One of the first games I owned was Anzio by Avalon Hill. I drove over to the hobby shop in the snow to pick it up as I finally had the money to get something! I can remember playing with Airfix figures and Roco tanks back in the 6th grade and before.
