Bolt Thrower Crew

By Michael Cannon / July 15, 2007

Over the past couple of days I have had my painting mojo flowing again. I was listening to Orson Scott Card’s books on tape and maybe that helped. I now have my Bolt Thrower and crew ready for deployment.

I am relatively pleased with my camera and lighting setup. The only thing I *don’t* like is the poor depth of field I am getting. This kind of photography requires long exposure times and large f-stops and I can’t seem to get it set up on my Nikon. Back to the manual, I guess!

I have been wargaming as long as I can remember. I met my wife when I was 14 and had been gaming long before that so that should give you an indication as to how long it has been. One of the first games I owned was Anzio by Avalon Hill. I drove over to the hobby shop in the snow to pick it up as I finally had the money to get something! I can remember playing with Airfix figures and Roco tanks back in the 6th grade and before.
